Michael Ashcraft, D.D.S., M.S.
A true Arkansan, Dr. Michael Ashcraft was born in Rison, Arkansas where he graduated from Rison High School in 1980. He received a Bachelor of Science degree (BS) in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas in 1984. He attended the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in Memphis where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1988. While a student at the University of Tennessee, Dr. Ashcraft was named a member of the Honorary Odontological Society (1986). Following his graduation, he was certified by the Arkansas Board of Dental Examiners in June of 1988. In 1990, Dr. Ashcraft completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences, where he also earned a Master of Science (MS) in Orthodontics. He has been in private practice since 1990. Dr. Ashcraft is an active member of many leading organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists and the Arkansas State Dental Association.
Charitable Work
Dr. Ashcraft has frequently provided free orthodontic treatment to underprivileged or underserved families through several local churches. In addition, he regularly supports many local and regional organizations, such as the Ronald McDonald House, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Junior Deputy baseball league, CARTI, the American Heart Association, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Conway Regional Medical Center, the University of Central Arkansas, and Pulaski Technical College.
Outside Of The Office
Dr. Ashcraft and his wife, Pam, reside in North Little Rock. They have two adult sons, Chris and Brent, two daughters-in-law, and two beautiful grandchildren. Dr. Ashcraft loves the outdoors and is an avid hunter and deep-sea fisher. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and following the Arkansas Razorbacks.
